June is on a mission to restore Oscar’s memories of his time living in Whispering Falls at the same time as she is starting her job as the new president of the village. When Alexelrod Primrose goes to June with his concerns about the owner of the new bookstore she tells him that she will hear him at the upcoming meeting. However, Alexelrod turns up dead before he can tell her his concerns. June wants to solve the murder, but she is having a hard time because Oscar seems to be in love with someone new.
I love June, Mr. Prince Charming, and many of the other characters, one of those characters is Raven. Raven is a good friend to June, she even created a desert which she named June’s Gems in her bakery. The mystery was well-plotted with plenty of twists and turns. I did not see the culprit as a suspect, so I was surprised by the reveal.
I listened to the audio version of the book my second time through. The narrator is great at becoming the voice of the characters. She makes the listening experience entertaining and enjoyable.

It's October in Honey Springs which means they are getting ready for their Halloween festival. While preparing for the festival Roxy and Patrick are also starting their wedding planning and trying to keep the peace between Roxy’s mother and aunt. Everything seems to be going well when the body of a businessman visiting the local B&B is found during the festival.
I loved this book. This is one of my favorite series. The characters are great with their quirky Southern charm. Roxy is one of my favorite characters in this series, she is a caring person who is determined to help her family, friends, and community when she feels there is a wrong that needs to be corrected. I also love the fact that Roxy helps out the local animal shelter by sponsoring an animal that may be harder to adopt in the Bean Hive Coffee Shop. The mystery has a great pace and several twists and turns to keep you entertained and guessing until the big reveal. I also love that the recipes that are included in the book are for both pets and people.
I listened to the audio version of the book the second time though. The narrator is wonderful at bringing the story to life with her accents. She adds to the reading experience by bringing the story to life.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves cozy mysteries, pets, female sleuths, food, coffee, and romance. I received an ARC of this book in hopes I would give a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and in no way have been influenced.

This was my favorite book in the series. I think you need to read the other two books in the series to better understand the characters. This is a great fantasy book for older children and teens. The is some violence and reference to ladies of the night. The characters are entertaining and complex. The storyline is well written it grabs your attention and hold it until the end.
I listened to the audiobook of the story. The narrator Mrs. Babb is great at bringing the story to life. She easily captures the voices and qualities of each character.

This is the first installment of a new series by Tonya Kappes. This book is more of a mystery/suspense instead of a cozy mystery, but still a fabulously crafted mystery. The characters are still full of the Southern charm we have come to expect from Mrs. Kappes. The mystery is still full of twists and turns and well-placed red herrings. I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Holiday Junction is getting ready for the Mistletoe Masquerade Ball. However the discovery of the body of a delivery man puts a damper on all the holiday cheer. Violet is determined to help solve the murder to remove the dark cloud threatening to ruin the ball.
I really enjoyed reading the Christmas cozy. Mrs. Kappes is great at weaving a story with humor, mystery, and a touch a romance. The mystery is well plotted to keep you guessing. The characters are fun and relatable. You feel like you are reading story about your friends.

When a member of the community is found dead on the steps of June’s shop she has to prove her innocence. With the help of June’s cat Mr Prince Charming and Oscar Parks June follows the clue to find the real murderer.
The characters are fun and quirky. It did irritate me that a couple of the characters turned on June so easily. The mystery is well-plotted with plenty of twists and turns.
I listened to the audiobook too. This narrator is great for this series, by her adding hisses and meows for Mr. Prince Charming really adds to the listening experience.

Roxy Bloom is in a great mood after finally getting to sleep in her own house after months of waiting for the repairs to be made after a fire. She and her dog Pepper arrive at the Bean Hive Coffee Shop to prepare the food and coffee for the day when they find a dead body sitting in one of her cafe chairs outside her shop. Sheriff Spencer instructs Roxy to leave the investigation to him and the deputies but after one of the suspects asks Roxy to be her lawyer Roxy plows full steam ahead into the investigation.
This book is my favorite in the series so far. The mystery was great as there were a couple of mysteries needing to be solved in this book. The twists and turns of the plot kept me on my toes guessing who was involved and why. I really loved how Roxy is now truly part of Honey Springs. I enjoyed seeing Roxy and Patrick have their little arguments in this book, not that I don't want them together but this makes them more realistic. I also enjoyed seeing how Roxy and her mother have repaired their relationship and want to help one another when the other is having problems. Overall I really love how the characters are evolving and becoming more complex and realistic. And being an animal lover; I love how Roxy always sponsors a rescue animal in her shop to help with pet adoptions.
I listened to the audiobook too. The narrator is a wonderful voice for Roxy and the rest of our friends of Honey Springs. This was such an enjoyment to listen to.
This is the 4th book in the series but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone mystery. I recommend this book to all mystery lovers, especially cozy lovers. I was provided with an ARC of this book with the hopes I would review. All thoughts and opinions are my own

This is such an entertaining series with great characters and a fun setting. The characters are quirky and interesting with great chemistry. I love Christmas cozies and the idea of the mischievous Reindeer. The mystery is well crafted with plenty of twists and turns. I never suspected the person who was the murderer.

June Heal is attending classes at Hidden Hall to learn more about her psychic abilities. While gone she leaves her shop in Oscar’s hands. Upon her arrival she learns there is a war being waged between the dark siders and the good siders by someone at the school. Can she discover who is behind everything before all magic as she knows it is gone.
This is a really fun series. June Heal and her familiar Prince Charming are a wonderful team. However when you add in Madame Torres, June’s crystal ball, you know things are going to get interesting. I am really enjoying the relationships that are developing. Besides a wonderful cast of characters and relationships, the mystery is well plaited with plenty of surprises.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator is a great June Heal as well as the other characters. She really captures June’s personality. Overall a great listening experience.

I love this series, once again Mrs. Kappes does not disappoint. She has created realistic characters and a lovely town I would enjoy visiting. I love the relationships that the Roxy has formed in the short time she has lived in Honey Springs. I also enjoy the partnership Rozy has with the local animal shelter and her coffee shop to help the animals find their forever home.
I listened to the audiobook the second time around. The narrator is fabulous with the voices. Listening to this book was like listening to a play. She is made listening to the book a great time.
This is a quick fun read. Great holiday read mystery lovers. Recipes included. I would recommend this book, it can be read in the series or as a stand-alone mystery.

This book is full of fun quirky characters and small town charm. Violet is a strong female protagonist who is likable, smart, and just a little bit nosy. The chemistry between Violet and the secondary characters is great. This chemistry allows the readers to feel as if they are reading about something that is happening to their friends. This series is fun as it celebrates holidays no matter if big or small. The mystery is well crafted with plenty of red herrings to keep you guessing. The storyline moves at a quick steady pace keeping you glued to the page to see if you’ve guessed right or if you followed the wrong twist or turn.
