Synopsis
The Vortex Blaster is a collection of three sci-fi short stories by E. E. Smith, published in 1960. The stories included are The Vortex Blaster, Storm Cloud on Deka & The Vortex Blaster Makes War. Our protagonist is Neal "Storm" Cloud, a nuclear engineer equipped with an astoundingly mathematical mind. In his world there is something we seemingly don't have in ours, self-sustaining currents of atomic energy. Handling these is a delicate matter where even the most advanced computers can fail, will our hero be up to the task...?
