Synopsis
When life throws you a curveball, you hit it out of the park.
I’d never been as wrong as I was when I assumed the Rogues had betrayed me. Now the true culprits were on my hit list—which was, at the moment, dormant. While an impossibly archaic threat hung over Stella’s head, there was nothing to be done but wait.
The Rogues were back in my life in private, but I had to endure the public spectacle of those intolerable Roguettes reclaiming their social positions…and my boys. Even though I knew it was a ruse, anger coursed through me every time the queen bee touched my man.
Not fearing any consequences, Charlotte and her cronies pushed me past my breaking point. I gave them a beating they won’t soon forget, but my satisfaction was short-lived. Jail had a way of sucking the pleasure right out of you.
But not the determination.
We would break the chains that bound us and be free. Free to be together. Free to live our lives.
