Synopsis
The Dancing Girls is a short story collection by author Edna Ferber. The other stories in the collection are: Old Lady Mandle, Long Distance and One Hundred Percent. They were originally published in magazines between 1910 and 1919. They include her distinctive mix of genuine people, grief, happiness and humor. The lead Story, The Dancing Girls brushes a picture of a mid-America small town society and how good people find their way to each other.
