The night before her fifteenth birthday, Rosaline Clayton receives an amulet from her delusional father. He tells her she must find a magical book in order to save him. Rosaline dismisses this as one of his crazy rants, until she and her brother discover the book in their nana's attic and it transports them to another world.
After years of war, Immagica lies in ruins. Its creatures want Rosaline to use the amulet's power to defeat the dragon and restore their land. But Rosaline has lost her brother, and all she wants to do is to find him and go home.
Rosaline soon learns she is bound to Immagica in unimaginable ways, and she must uncover a dark family secret that could destroy her. Can Rosaline follow her heart and save them all? Or will she and Immagica die at the hands of the dragon?
