Kevin Templeton's life begins as an orphan. Next, during his early childhood, he jumped between foster homes and living on the streets. Then in his teens, a stint in juvenile detention, and multiple run-ins with the law.

Present day, Kevin Templeton is on trial for thirteen counts of insurance fraud and is being hounded by a scrupulous FBI agent for murder. Sharon Alverson believes she is on the trail of a serial killer as Kevin's family members keep popping up deceased with only death certificates signed by Kevin as evidence.

The question: Who is Kevin Templeton?

Con Artist? Scammer? Street Hustler? Schemer? Or! Just maybe he is hiding something even darker, more sinister.

Then again, Kevin Templeton may just be trying to make things right. A good guy just trying to overcome a life of trouble after growing up in foster homes and, in between those foster homes, short stints living on the streets.
