Although, to be fair, I don't think the change between my eight boys and I has anything to do with mysterious strangers and drug sales. No, that has to do with a far larger realization I made lately. One I am desperately trying to ignore. I can sense change is in the air, and it worries me. Something tells me that I won't be able to ignore any of our problems anymore… which means I am so screwed.

This standalone is a story of mystery, suspense, and a fair amount of teenage angst thrown in there. Birth of a Raven is a RH prequel novel that comes before The Red Masques Series (starting with Raven Blood) in terms of the timeline. However, it is suggested that you read those first to have a larger grasp of the story in its entirety. While this will be mostly contemporary in content, there are hints of the paranormal series to come.
